Hillfields Community Garden Comes Alive for Climate and Nature Day

Hillfields Community Garden has been buzzing with energy as residents gather for our Climate and Nature Day celebrations. Together with our Nature Learning Leader, Benedetta, and our brilliant Community Climate Action Coordinator, Loz, we’ve hosted a hands‑on creative workshop where families imagine future homes and design miniature gardens.

CAN Days are community climate events led by Hillfields Community Garden’s resident‑run Climate and Nature group. They bring together local organisations and neighbours to showcase practical climate and nature action, while connecting people with support, ideas and inspiration.

Children and plenty of adults have been getting stuck into clay modelling, crafting their own visions of greener, more sustainable living. The atmosphere is lively, hopeful, and full of brilliant ideas taking shape.
