Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteering with Hillfields Community Garden is about more than lending a hand — it’s about feeling good, connecting with nature, and becoming part of a supportive community. Whether you’re looking to boost your wellbeing, build confidence, learn new skills, make friends, or take steps toward re‑entering the workforce, volunteering can open the door to meaningful personal growth. It’s also a powerful way to reduce isolation and support others along the way.
We’re committed to creating an inclusive, vibrant space where everyone feels they belong. Through our community garden, we actively welcome people who experience racism, come from diverse ethnic backgrounds, are underrepresented in mainstream culture, or live in areas of the city facing disadvantage.
By getting involved, you’re not only helping your local community thrive — you’re investing in yourself, too.
