Hillfields Park Community Centre
​
Hillfields Park Community Centre can cater for a wide variety of events including private parties, meetings, conferences or training courses within our community centre in Hillfields, East Bristol.


We have several different spaces (of varying sizes) to choose from. These spaces are named after local Hillfields road names which are different species of plants and trees - which ties in with our love of nature! 

When you choose to book our space, you are supporting Hillfields Community Garden at Hillfields Park Community Centre, as all funds go back into supporting our charitable work in the local area.

Our fully accessible venue includes wheelchair access, an internal lift, an accessible toilet, and disabled parking.

We are conveniently located in East Bristol and easily accessible from central Bristol and surrounding areas. We are 20 minutes drive from Bristol city centre or 30 minutes by bike where we are just two minutes off the Bristol to Bath path.
For cyclists, we have secure bike stands on site with CCTV coverage. If you are driving then there is a dedicated car park adjacent to the centre which accommodates ten vehicles.

Sports Hall
​

This is our largest area and is the perfect event space for bigger groups needing extra room. It is a fully equipped sports hall with double height ceilings, a large capacity and with plenty of natural light. 

You have the option to add the Forest Room as a breakout area or green room. This room is the perfect storage/sitting area for any sports activities and also can act as a backstage area for your event, performance or exhibition. There is the added option of also hiring our sports equipment, see below rates.

Foyer

Our accessible first floor space is perfect for family parties and celebrations, exhibitions, and community focused events. 
This open plan space is the heart of our community centre and is nearest to our kitchen area. Within opening day hours, this is our main communal area of the building and is our welcome space for refreshments and our community café.

​

Acacia is our dedicated Art Room and a fantastic creative space that leads off from the Foyer. It features natural light, double sinks, wipe-clean floors and a private atmosphere. 

Perfect for art workshops, craft sessions, and creative projects, this room offers functionality and inspiration for anyone wanting to get creative.

Kitchen and servery

Our newly renovated kitchen is well equipped to host small catering events as part of your rental for another room (evening and weekend only) or for small scale community cooking groups for evening hire. The kitchen has a 90cm wide double oven and grill, double sink and dishwasher. We also have a community fridge. 

This space offers worktop space for small groups, an electric/induction oven. Use of utensils and equipment can be included as extra in the hire. The kitchen has a servery onto the Foyer. Party Hire of Plastic plates, bowls, and cups for 30 people can be included as an extra fee.

You can add the hire of our kitchen space to your rental as well as additional extras for your meeting room hire such as: flip charts, speakers, projectors and all of the supporting equipment you need. Just get in touch with us to find out more.
