Hillfields Park Community Centre offers a range of versatile and affordable rooms for hire, suitable for community events, private celebrations, meetings, training sessions, and more. Each of our spaces is named after local Hillfields streets, many inspired by plants and trees, reflecting our strong connection to nature.
Our venue is fully accessible, with wheelchair access throughout, an internal lift, an accessible toilet, and dedicated disabled parking to ensure everyone can enjoy the space comfortably.

Sports Hall

Our largest and most versatile space, the Sports Hall offers double‑height ceilings, plenty of natural light, and a generous capacity. Ideal for big events, sports sessions, performances, exhibitions, birthday parties, and large community gatherings.
You can add the Forest Room as a breakout, storage, or backstage area, and sports equipment is also available to hire. The hall now features new upper‑wall sound‑proofing to help reduce noise disturbance, making it an even better choice for lively activities.

Foyer

This versatile space is full of character and flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of uses beyond meetings and therapies.
With cosy touches, a free football table, an optional pool table, children’s toys, books, and comfy sofas. It includes seven large dining tables with seating for up to 35 people (plus extra tables, chairs, and highchairs if needed), along with smaller tables and modular seating for group activities. A large round window fills the space with natural light, and when hiring the whole building you’ll also enjoy views into the sports hall. Conveniently located next to the servery, it’s a great choice for social events, workshops, community groups, and private meetings.

Acacia

Acacia is our dedicated Art Room and a fantastic creative space that leads off from the Foyer. It features natural light, double sinks, wipe-clean floors and a private atmosphere.
Perfect for art workshops, craft sessions, and creative projects, this room offers functionality and inspiration for anyone wanting to get creative.

Maple is our dedicated meeting room, offering a calm and professional environment just off the main corridor. With soft natural light, comfortable furnishings, and a clean, modern layout, it provides the ideal setting for productive discussions and focused teamwork.
Designed for meetings, planning sessions, and small-group collaboration, Maple combines practicality with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're hosting a strategy workshop or a quiet breakout session, this room supports clear thinking and meaningful conversation.

This calm, affordable lower‑ground‑floor room is ideal for counselling, therapies, one‑to‑one meetings, or use as a breakout, or low‑sensory space.
It features soft furnishings, and adjustable lighting from lamps to create a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you need privacy, focus, or a quiet retreat during an event, this flexible room offers a welcoming and great‑value option.

Forest is our largest meeting room available for hire at Hillfields Park Community Centre. It offers generous light, and a practical layout that makes it easy to adapt for different types of sessions. With movable furniture, it’s designed to flex around your needs.
Ideal for wellbeing workshops, children’s activities, community projects, and larger meetings, this room provides a versatile environment that supports collaboration, creativity, and hands‑on work.

Extras available for your room hire
You can add the hire of our kitchen space to your rental as well as additional extras for your meeting room hire such as: flip charts, speakers, projectors and all of the supporting equipment you need.
