20th May - Mindful Photography This month we will be slowing down, taking notice of the light, textures and colours of our local natural environment. We will have some fun experimenting with different angles and creative ways to capturing nature’s beauty through a lens. A phone camera will be fine for this session but do feel free to bring any other type of camera if you wish to. No experience required. Drop in. 24th June - Hapazome (Japanese Flower printing) Learn how to make beautiful flower prints from nature, and how to use plants to create natural dyes. We will be practicing the ancient art of Hapazome which is very cathartic involving bashing plants and flowers with a hammer! You will come away with a piece of natural art that you have made yourself. We will also be talking about what plants produce natural dyes and how to make use of them. No experience required. Drop in. |
